On SR2 docking is quite hard and frustraiting to master. Making docking more simple and easy whould help new players and even players that have played the game from the start. Making a similar system that SFS has maybe?

haha no. SR2 should never follow the ways of the boring SFS. here have a quick tutorial
    ->
get both crafts in orbit, make sure one is HIGHER then the other
    +
    target second craft
    +
use maneuver node to have your orbit intersect with the target vehicle (GET THE LITTLE WHITE BITS AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE)
    +
    Timewarp to closest point
    +
where you see the velocity thingamajig on your hud, press it until it says “TARGET” and aim retrograde
    +
depending on the engine on the current stage, burn until target velocity is 0 (if the engine is powerful you can get as close as the encounter gets you then burn, if it has a low TWR then burn before it loads in.)
    +
once target velocity is at 0, aim towards target vehicle and burn until target velocity is 50m/s then burn retrograde once close
    +
target docking port and aim the target craft prograde/retrograde while your craft is in the opposite direction of the target vehicle
    +
use RCS to get closer to the docking port. Turn on translate mode, when enabled you will have full control of the RCS and ONLY the RCS. (throttle is “forward” and “backward,” Roll will be “Left” and “Right” then finally Pitch will be “Up” and “Down”)
    +
once the docking ports pull both crafts together, disable RCS and lock heading to either target or just unlock heading. the crafts will probably spin around a bunch during this but you’ll be fine, just don’t do anything.
    +
then boom after a small wait you’ve docked.

It is the same difficulty as SFS except there is a 3rd dimension which complicates it. If you want that level as easy you will have to stick to SFS or SR1.

that's the exact problem I had when I switched from SFS to SR2
