Today I am really excited to announce further details about Volume 1 of the ESS Lore -- Eternal Winter! This project has been continuing over several months now, and a lot of progress has been made. Starting on Wednesday 10th March there will be weekly chapter releases on the forum page.
Eternal Winter is the first volume of the ESS lore, and it follows the crew of the Droo Alliance Craft New Frontiers as they explore the mysteries of the outer Jun system. Each week's release will take the format of a chapter in the lore, and there will be 12 chapters released in total. The locations, planets and moons mentioned in Volume 1 will all be found in ESS 4.0, set to be released at the end of March.
I hope you will enjoy the lore as much as I have enjoyed planning and writing it! I want to thank Ardee for making the beautiful cover art (to some quite demanding specifications!), and also ParallelMayhem for plot feedback and proofreading work.
