Visiting from SP...for those of you who have played both games, how are aircraft over here in SR2? Are there supersonic effects in SR2, or anything else that might make it worth the leap into SR2?

Better jet engines, that are more tinker-able. Also, propellers are easy to make with the right placement. Landing gear are fully tinker-able. Most importantly,

    we have astronaut pilots

with parts able to support old looking and new looking Cockpits that display real data.

Also, you can make rocket planes if you feel so inclined. Or Rockets in general.

Anyway, Welcome to the community! Have a nice stay! =)

@ChiChiWerx vizzy is very useful for programming your plane and its functions and its UI is more simple so you can build better planes faster. But planes sometimes do have some weird wing bugs tho (like one wing just randomly losing lift when covered)

i prefer SR2, mostly b/c of customizable jet engines and landing gear. but we need weapons

@ChiChiWerx sr2 is probably a mix between superiority and unsuperiority when it comes to plane making

@Tweedle_Aerospace good to know...don't know how familiar you are with SP, any other things in SR2 which are superior, and anything which is inferior?

There are definitely supersonic effects. Just not so much visually. The physics change like they should after Mach 1.
