I was watching James May blast a toy at Mach 1.1 in a rocket.

He described how to make a rocket that flies stable. That was in the episode of Action Man at the Speed of Sound. Firstly you need somethings we have in SimplePlanes. CoM (Centre of Mass) , and CoP (Centre of Pressure). Rockets don’t need CoL (Centre of Lift) as they are pushing up not getting wings to give them lift.

Anyway, let’s get too it.

So we will need to make our CoP at the top and CoM at the bottom and Bobs your uncle. Your rocket should fly.
