SCE - 1 ENGINE TEST SUCCESS

SCE - 1 engine is fired for full duration as you can see it above... This is the first step of the test campaign for Pegasus 9, The test happened in Test stand 1 at E.S Space center in space tech island.

SCE - 1 Engine is a staged combustion engine that runs on methane, and lox as oxidizer. SCE generates at about 10,200kn of thrust and it is powerful enough to lift Pegasus up. It is mostly made out of a rocket type metal, we used lightweight Silver-bronze for that, and the nozzle is 3d Printed.
