It would not be better. Unreal is an engine based mainly for FPS games. It does have the ability to do some physics. But mainly limited to cars. It doesn’t have a suspension part or a wheel to simulate grip. So it would add extra months to the game just to get cars running. And then there is rockets. Unity has hundreds of things for physics simulations. It even has rocket engine simulations. All of this allows them to produce updates faster and smoother. All they have to do is just do calculations and apply them in most cases.
