Hi, I’m building an incredibly large and heavy plane, and the stock landing gear has trouble with moving it. I have minimal suspension on it as it was bouncing a lot when spawned in, and when I attempt to throttle up to taxi using the wheels, all the wheel (I’m only using the front one for now) does is go very rapidly between -250ish to 250ish rpm, and doesn’t move at all. Is there a fix to this or is my craft just too heavy? It’s currently 873,123 kg heavy. (There are no wings or anything else yet, just the cockpit, tail, and body.)

Also, the wheels keep doing this even if brake is full on and throttle is off. The craft does gain a tiny bit of forward momentum if I have throttle on but it’s barely anything, not even 1m/s.

It’s due to the weight. You could try turning the friction of them all the way down that may help @Jerba

Okay correction, doesn’t work on the wasp (I thought it did, the wheels don’t have motor torque) but the default new plane should be able to taxi. (Your turning throttle to 100 with the engines off right?)@TweedleAerospace

Yes I know, also it’s not just a few meters. Turn the engines off on the default new plane or the wasp and you should simply be able to taxi using only the wheels.@TweedleAerospace

@Jerba A. More wheels will balance out the bouncing and the weird rpm’s. B. The wheel motors aren’t really built for moving the craft more than a few meters. Also they need battery power to operate.
