about Zenit

she was born with the Buran shuttle program, using the RP1 fueled RD170 staged-cycle engine, the most powerful rocket engine we made, it's capable of sending about 12t to low earth orbit. she was first launched back in 1985, then in the following 32 years, it had flown 84 times with a success rate of 86.3%. She was last flown in 2017 and her designs will be continued on the next generation Soyuz rocket. She had a single RD-170 engine on its 32m first stage and an RD-120 on its upper stage. An additional fraget rocket can be placed in the fairing. This makes her a 3.9m diameter, 50m high rocket.
