ASF-25 Caracal

I present to you: the in development interdictor class Aerospace fighter nicknamed “Caracal”

At 25 meters long and 40,000 kg, the Caracal is one of the largest aerospace fighters ever built, however it is also insanely fast with a speed of over Mach 2.5 at sea level, it can go as fast as you need it to. The Caracal is more than a ship, it’s a feeling.

In the right hands, the relationship between ship amd pilot becomes symbiotic. With large airbrakes to slow you down on atmospheric entry, and all moving tail planes and canards, as well as thrust vectoring, the Caracal flies quite smoothly for a ship of its size. With the first small scale Alcubierre drive fitted into a fighter, it can get you anywhere in the solar system.

With two beds, a pantry, and a bathroom in the crew cabin, the Caracal can sustain crew for long missions, or even sustain crew indefinitely for civilian use.
The 2125 Caracal is more than just a ship.
