Virgin Galactic completes it’s first fully crewed spaceflight, SpaceX Cargo Dragon has departed the ISS, and the first TerTech ASRS satellites to launch soon.
Last Friday, a SpaceX Cargo Dragon CRS-22 has departed the space station. That same day, the SLS Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage was stacked.
Just a few hours ago, Virgin Galactic completed it’s first fully crewed mission. Of course, onboard the VSS Unity was the founder of Virgin Galactic and the Virgin Group, Sir Richard Branson. In addition to Branson, the crew that flew today included Beth Moses, Virgin Galactic's chief astronaut instructor; Colin Bennet, the lead operations engineer at the company; and Sirisha Bandla, Virgin Galactic's vice president of government affairs and research operations. Today, RocketScienceCo also published an upcoming live stream for the first launch of ASRS (Atmospheric Satellite Reconnaissance System). The satellites are planned to launch on July 14th, and the team at TerTech and RSCo are super excited. Anyway, that’s it for this week! See you next week for another news coverage.
