Why do Russian rockets rollout riding railroads?

@TerTech I don’t know. Yuri did it when he was being transported to the launch pad, and now all the cosmonauts do it.

But why would the cosmonauts pee behind a truck?

@TerTech Probably not. Russia/the Soviet Union has lots of these traditions at launch. Some of them are really weird, like the cosmonauts not being allowed to watch their rocket roll out. And they also have to pee behind a truck. It’s really weird.

Because they don’t use trucks.
