RocketScienceCo says the Baguette Space Telescope has been delivered and received and “just awaiting for Bravo 10 V8 to make it out to the launchpad.” The launch could be delayed because RSCo has contracted iSpace to do the Vizzy. However, iSpace notified RSCo that they only need rot complete the landing vizzy, meaning the launch is still on track.
The Baguette Space Telescope is an interstellar telescope mission that is to search for exoplanets while in interstellar space. RSCo was originally to launch it on Apex, but it was dumped earlier and now BST is to launch on a Bravo 10 V8.
Aug 22, 2021 - TerTech’s team has left the launch site. Their jet took off from Runway 27 at Launch Pad Complex 1 of Rocket Science Co. Under the command of Captain Cynthia Pratt and First Officer Ally Sloan, the TerTech team, which consists of TerTech’s CEO and four team members, is on their way to the desert airbase where all TerTech space operations are coordinated. As the plane raced down the runway and took off, Pratt delivered this inspiring message over the radio to ATC: “It was an honour to have Rocket Science Co launch this revolutionary space telescope. Soon, we will be ready, to begin a new chapter in space exploration. And one day, we will find out the answer to the biggest question that space exploration aims to answer: Is there life beyond Earth?” The team has arrived at the desert airbase and are participating in a welcome ceremony on the ramp in front of the main hangar.
