I'd like to edit some of my planetary body XML files to change the music that plays on them (if you didn't know, some planets like Cylero or the 2 gas giants have their own music), i know what to change, however my current iOS "files" app only allows the observation of the XML files, but not changing them. There are a couple of file editors out on the app store, so i want to download one and edit the planetary body files for a change in music.
However, my main question regarding it is:
Are these things legal to use? I'm technically modifying game files (which Apple doesn't really like) and while these are mostly harmless assuming you either know what you're doing and/or you're only editing one or two things, you can still mess up seriously.
i know that this is a really stupid question but i just want to be sure that what i want to do is okay.
great, so now i know that it should be legal, but now i can't choose a file editor to use, each one either requires an account or is just straight up broken, or both
