On mobile (Android) and attached pieces together but they never appear to resize to the other's size even with it enabled. Quite annoying since it causes one to do it manually

It seems you need to connect the shell as well, which you can find in the connection menu.

Maybe restart the game, turn on and off the auto resize a lot, or upload (but make them unlisted) all your crafts and systems you made and redownload the app
