Alright. So I have been developing a modification of somebody’s suicide burn vizzy code, and I have ran into a problem. I’ve done all the steps to find the forceRequred for the suicide burn for my Echo booster. This code should also be able to work with mostly every craft too.

Now, I am no math wiz, but according to this I have done the steps to calculate the distance and propulsion required for a suicide burn, but the code decides to not throttle at all.

I will credit anybody who helps devolop my booster landing and orbit program, EchoFly.

If possible, I would like help with booster guidance to land my booster back on the landing pad. Those people will be listed as contributors and will be credited whenever I upload a Echo-7 rocket craft.

also mine is super oversimplified, I really don't feel like using the complicated maths

@Staticalliam7 That’s important. The program breaks when that happens.

It also ensures that the vertical speed never reaches a positive value @HorizonsTechnologies

K and also the math is pretty simple, basically it calculates how much thrust is needed to slow it down before it hits the ground. Just uses the total thrust and gravity of the planet @HorizonsTechnologies

@Staticalliam7 By the way, the code works amazingly with my booster. I’ll credit you for when I finish my program.

@Staticalliam7 What’s the math behind it? I would like to know how the process works.
