Earlier this year, the Costa Valenca Government set out on an exciting journey to the Arctic, in the search of a suitable area for our new Arctic base.
By and in memory of J. Amatsy (3.8.1989 - 11.12.2023)
Start
We started our Journey in the Con'atra Desert at 5am in the morning. We got some coffee, and headed out to the hangar to prepare the jets for takeoff.
Taking off was really breathtaking, the view was wonderful, and the visibility enabled me to see for miles.
After I took a glimpse of the surroundings, I began the post-takeoff turn maneuver. At waypoint S1, I crossed the boundry between the desert and the mountains of Goulia.
View at 33000ft at 30km distance from S1
Next came S2, S3 and S4. At waypoint S4 I could see Mt. Nimbus (waypoint S5).

At last came S6, S7, and S8. I started the descent onto the icy surface and let down the ski-gear.

Touchdown
Upon landing, I could feel the coldness on the canopy. I depressurized the suspension and opened the Canopy, and was greeted by the beautiful Arctic landscape.
