1. How do I use gyros? I can never get them to work
2.how do I get more delta V on my craft (without any cheaty methods)

@Starborn battery doesn't needs to be connected to a gyroscope, it already powers the entire craft.

@JekAAD make it bigger, the blue object inside the gyro while you're editing its size shows the true size of the gyro, the bigger the more powerful, you can also edit the power.
