First, I just want to apologize to the community for disappearing into a black hole these past few months. We have been incredibly busy with SimplePlanes VR and have been crunching to get it ready before Christmas. This turned out to be an enormous effort, far greater than any of us expected. Fortunately, we were able to get it done and SPVR is launching Friday.
After the New Year, after ensuring SPVR development is running smoothly, some of us will return to SR2 and start with a small bug fix update. After that, we will resume the career mode and localization updates. If plans change, I promise to do a better job of communicating with the community.
For those that may wonder, localization is a technique that would allow us to translate the game to other languages, and for the community to make their own translations for their own if they aren't included or for fun (I've always enjoyed playing Minecraft with the Pirate language).
.
It's been something I've been asking for for a long time and @HellFireKoder has been doing an amazing job at it, that was paused to help with SPVR. Things are looking great so far but the game has far more text than we thought (who would have thought we had so many tooltips and descriptions!). I'm hopeful for this to be a gamechanger, opening the game to a larger community of space enthusiasts from all over the world :)
