How well do the SR2 files convert to OBJ files?

I design and 3D print model rockets so I can launch them. I use a combination of 3D printed parts, cardboard body tubes, and 1.5 or 2mm plywood fins/wings. It speeds up my design process substantially if I have a 3D model to help guide my design.

Anyway, I am curious about whether many people have exported from Simple Rockets to an OBJ file and tried pulling this file into other 3D design programs. Anyone have an example?

I have been able to convert 3D design files from flight simulators before -- I need to redesign and rebuild for a 3D printable version but it still helped. I did this to inspire the design for my SNECMA C-450 Coléoptère https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1agSTEJZPH8

Thanks in advance for any advice.

maybe delete mesh2craft and use craft2mesh when you want to

I have been trying to get the craft2mesh mod to work but it is not loading for some reason. I can get the mesh2craft mod to load but the craft2mesh mod seems to copy and build to mod directory (I double click on the downloaded mod with SR as executable which creates a much larger file in the mod folder) but no new menu items appear in the rocket design screens.
