Good day you all.
I'm working on a new simple rover to be sent to Mars for exploration.
Since it is the first rover i build i'm finding a bit difficoult to set all the parameters of the wheels.
So i'm here to ask some tips and tricks on users that are more able than me.
1) is it possible to know the energy consumption of each wheel motor, so that i can provide a sufficient battery pack and a suitable RTG to conduct tasks before recharge.
2) correct me if wrong. to achieve behaviour similar to real rovers i have to "tweak" the maxRPM value from the new tinker panel...but what is the link between RPM, torque, grip, energy consumption and gear ratio?

how would you set a wheel to behave similarly to curiosity or perseverance?

thanks for your help.

It would be nice a sort of electric motor performance analyzer, as for the rocket engines, but I don't know if it can be done

@Dereric no, it is not possible to see energy consumption of wheel motors on PC.
That is why i was asking how to desume it

On mobile you can't see the power consumption inflight, are you sure that you can see it on a PC?

you can google information about the wheels on perseverance, like RPM or battery consumption

you can detect the battery consumption of a wheel by right-clicking or tapping on the wheel, in flight, and looking at the power consumption on certain torque inputs
