I can’t get my parachutes to open high enough in the low density Cylero atmosphere anymore since the new update 🤷🏼???
Even when I adjust the settings to make them open in the lowest density possible, the parachute will only open a few hundred meters above the surface when I’m still traveling way too fast... causing a high speed crash into the surface every time!
It seems like the new parachute settings were designed with Droo’s atmosphere in mind only, and totally omitted low density atmospheres like Cylero. Have the devs forgot that sometimes we need to open parachutes in very low density atmospheres to play this game? Please let us open parachutes around the 10-15 km altitude on Cylero, so that we can slow down enough in the higher parts of the atmosphere and have a chance to land a heavy payload with retro rockets afterwards 🙏🏻 Thanks

@SamTheFox oh...! I just saw the arrows on top where you can change <part> <drag> <config> <Parachute> 🤦‍♂️
Wow this game has a lot of parameters that you can adjust! 😳 That's great, always something new to learn... But at what point do we stop calling it "SIMPLE" rockets? 😂 Lol
It's getting pretty complicated imo but I won't complain about it haha 😅
Anyway, thanks a lot for walking me through it 🙏 it's greatly appreciated. Sorry for all the questions but yeah obviously I still have a lot to learn.

@SamTheFox oh thanks! I hadn’t seen this... but it’s still unclear what exactly I have to edit in order to be able to deploy the parachute in lower density atmosphere 🤔
    Activated? True? False?
    Stage override?
    Materials?
It’s all very confusing 🤷🏼‍♂️ I just wish we could simply slide that adjustment bar into lower atmosphere settings ...

@SamTheFox where do you see an option to open parachutes in thinner atmosphere in the tinker panel? 🤔
It’s not there. I literally can’t land my rover on Cylero anymore because the parachutes won’t open until a few seconds before crashing at high speed... the best I was able to manage so far, while aiming to land inside one of the deepest crater, was crashing at only 40m per second 🤷🏼‍♂️
Cause otherwise I can’t find any other way to open my parachutes in less than 0.012 kg/m3 atmosphere density

    it's in the tinker panel
also the hidden properties is kinda like legit xml but it's in the app

    @SamTheFox I didn’t see any “hidden properties” 🤔
There is an option for “advanced properties” but all it shows is “stability modifier” 🤷🏼‍♂️
No option to open and deploy parachutes in thinner atmosphere equivalent to above 39km altitude on Droo...

you'll have to use the hidden properties in the parachute

I've already posted an suggestion that i want an option to open the parachute manually, just like the way before the update.

I think the new system isn't very realistic, i think real space capsules have a kind of manual override to open the parachutes manually in case of a system malfunction.

YES I'VE SUFFERED WITH THIS SOOOOO MUCH
i can't slow down rapidly anymore cause of this
