Although suggestions are temporarily unavailable, i still have some ideas to improve the game.
so, here we go:
- More adjustable XML parameters for jet engines: give us the same customizability as the rocket engines, with exhaust color (on afterburner'd ones only), thrust multiplier, throttle response (i especially want this one!), etc.
- "Volume" attribute to all engines: the current ones are too quiet, and even the legacy engines aren't that loud. they should be adjusted, or at the very least give us a volume attribute in XML to let us change that (though maybe add a cap so trolls can't make earrape builds and potentially deafen someone?)
- Optional procedural crater rays in PS: would be pretty hard to implement, but maybe using noises and some stuff it could be possible? the planet making community has been wanting this for a long time now...
- Support for multiple stars or just different ones: i actually think it could be possible if we had a switching system, let me demonstrate with a fictional star system format similar to ZG: when in orbit around the main galaxy center, it would give the sun glare from that, but when entering a SOI of a celestial body that's marked as a star, it will switch the graphic over to have it originate from that body instead and would stay in its respective planets and moons. as for the multi-star systems, i've seen programs that can do such a thing, so i think it could potentially be implemented but i'm not 100% sure
- possibly an in-game donation menu? i know, i know, IAP's suck, but so do ads. anyways, i think a simple menu (which can be accessed somewhere in the settings or idk) which can let you donate to the devs to help support further development even after you've bought the game, with values ranging from maybe like 5 dollars to 100 dollars, or something. these shouldn't give any in-game or on-site benefits so that isn't unfair, but i think it could be a good additional way to get some sweet sweet cash :)
