(PC windows) How to do the planet rings correctly, holy crap this took me way too long to find out

So first you will have the file for the ring itself, you will then click resize for that file, after it's resized to at least 50 pixels high you can then edit the image and add any filter you want to it, then you should be able to save it, my god, that took me multiple weeks to find out.
