No matter where I set the density the chutes never open on other planets and don't open high enough if they do decide to work. Is there a manual open that I am missing. I reallly don't care about the automatic deployment system. AG assignment is how I want to pop the chute no matter where I am.

in the tinker panel, there is a blue button that says "Edit Hidden Properties"
in the parachute configuration, turn up the deployment density AND inflation density
