Here at HORIZONSPACE it has been almost 2 years since the start of my OLD account.
to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of HORIZONSPACE i will be discussing my future missions to luna and possibly my first landing on T.T to create a colony. tests have taken place to see wether or not this idea

would work. brigo was the test site but im moving that to luna due to brigo'
s rough terrain. a colony on luna could work but it would require at least 3 launches to set up a sustainable lunar base capable of long periods without any re-supply craft needed.

we could see the first module launch to luna as early as the first part of october.

discuss how you think i should make these modules. thanks guys

@HORIZONSPACEUK No problem, I made the mistake of trying to land a module that was on a rover so I could drive it over there to the hub I had landed, and it rolled onto its side during its commute over to the hub. So, I would just want to spread the importance of a scout rover to make sure the location is good for a surface base.

First, a scouting rover would be a good call due to some locations appearing flat but then turning into something like a space themed Jeep commercial. Once you have a location that is relatively flat, then begin to construct the first module, in this case possible hub if you want it to go in multiple directions.

@TronicOrbital true. But I think the easiest option is probably to send it to the flattest part of brigo/luna rather than developing a tool for this. I will definitely take idea of launching all in one go to consideration. The base would have to be reasonably small though.
