So I am trying to set up a space station and I get the approach icons lined up(the rocket and satellite), but they don’t turn green. On another note, how many RCS is recommended? And is it okay if I dock with an arm( similar to the shuttle).

@SamTheFox Thank you, that helps a lot. I launched a module for a start if a station, and I am docking to it for a proof of concept.

it’s not supposed to turn green, unless it is entering the SOI of another planet. just get the icons close enough so that you get a nice, accurate rendezvous
the amount of RCS thrusters depends on the size and mass of the craft. typically, for a shuttle, you’ll need 12 RCS, radially symmetrical using the symmetry tool
yes, you may use a docking arm. but you will need another docking port to attach the arm

It worked, but I am thinking of scraping the shuttle idea. This is going to be a longer term project for me.
