Tried out KSP2 it was great

I heard the game was trash and that KSP 1 looks better with mods than ksp2

By the way, I'll say it again, the scope of KSP2 is absolutely massive and I think it is not easy to make things optimized.

Also remember optimization is one of the last things developers do

At launch the game sure will be extremely improved. At least we hope, right?

Someone (a dev working with the same game engine, apparently) has analysed the situation pretty deeply on reddit the other day.

There seems to be a rather bumpy road ahead, as they have left out fairly important basics, indeed, eg multiplayer. All in all it'll be a helluva job to get this right - and the physics engine problems are essentially identical to ksp1...so one kinda wonders if they did anything at all, apart form making things beautiful.

@ysu Not up to the task? They must have tried to get the base game mechanics wrong on purpose!

@BeastHunter yup, their dev team is not really up to the task, it'd seem.

@ysu That game took six years? Juno was made over six years and is actually a feature complete finished product. KSP2 fails to achieve basic game mechanics.

@polygons you can try it on steam and refund it.

But there's no career mode. There's only sandbox, and it's missing a LOT of things, including thermodynamics. The content is basic ksp1. What it has an abundance of: problems. Major ones.

6 years of development, 3 subsequent delays in the last 3 years - and not much to show for it.

@DragoranosSR2 Juno was early access. That game is three years of waste.

I paid $50 for a game with more bugs than the original and a quarter of the framerate I get in high settings in Juno on medium settings.

@Polygons I don't think there was besides there was a lot of bugs in the game there also isn't a re entry effect so I would give it a meh it was alright, but it needs some fixing.
