In this forum I wanted to talk about some issues that will probably be fixed in version 1.1
• satellite missions
-Satellite missions are an easy way to earn in-game money, but they are a bit repetitive and could be changed to rescue missions or something else.
•Droods
- Droods are kind of useless in career mode, like you only use them for milestones and some other things that in MY VISION are not important and the 2 Droods that you have for free ( Yuri sally) could be won with progression missions like "use Sally's rocket with X ?v to get back to the droo safely" and so you gain confidence to use the Droods and gain Sally and missions that involve them start to appear.
•flying missions
-Learning to Fly 2 were really hard especially checkpoints 7 and 8 and having to pass right on the edge of the runway is not easy especially in an environment full of mountains
(I'm not advanced in the planes part of the career mode so I don't have much to talk about)
•I would talk about topics like the time to do missions and also that it would be better before receiving missions from planets like tydos or vulco you would have to do such missions in cylero first

I know the career mode just came out and it would come with some issues but that doesn't totally ruin the experience I'm having. I'm actually having a lot of fun.

Ahhhh..... The realization that you suck at creating a good functioning rocket in career mode is humbling. And infuriating. Especially when you go broke every time you forget to check your interstage order before you go to the launchpad.

@t4zcomz C:\ .... users ....."user named folder".....AppData....LocalLow ..... Jundroo.... SimpleRockets2...... this will get you too where your saved game data is stored. The contract files are the located in the "career" then "default" then "Contracts" folder.

Completely agree checkpoint 7/8 is hard, even with slow mo + lock to target.
Also, most of the sat missions are dry like, you launch a satellite into orbit and that's it, nothing more to do with that particular satellite.
@Toinkove Where can I find the game files for missions?

@CareerEnjoyer1229 Leaving the checkpoints further away from each other would give us more reaction time or let us see 2 checkpoints at once preparing ourselves for what's coming

@Toinkove at checkpoints 7/8 I'm going at least 110m/s and one thing I noticed is that checkpoint 8 is smaller and when I try to pass it I go straight.
This is not a big problem in career mode but I think for a mission where you are learning to fly I find it a little difficult what they could do is leave it a little further away

I had never flown a plane in this game until Carrier Mode came out so the whole flying experience to me was just a disaster! However I suspect the last two checkpoints (7 & 8) are/were intended to encourage the player to slow down to be able to hit them and then subsequently land on the runway. Does seem however Most Players do not do this and instead just weave an bob through them to a cartoonish landing!

So it’s clear to me now that career mode is nowhere near complete! The reason droods are useless and we have repetitive satellite missions is they are still working on adding more contracts (you can actually see in the game files where they have unfinished manned missions, Station Resupply missions, etc) I dunno when these missions will finally be implemented but when they are I think they will Adresse your first two points!
