Career mode - $8.5M contract done in $8.3K electric airplane

BTW tried orbital plane with detachable booster - $200K, missed by 200 km and burned on reentry 😆

@mundindel jets can get quite fast, closer to 10x as fast as your electric plane

@CloakPin that may be an option if there's a surface path, and if it can walk in given direction while you're doing other missions 🤔

@Insanity it was about 400 km, ~30 min on x3 time warp - totally reasonable given nearly 100% chance of success.
wondering what's the supposed solution. ballistic missile carrying a little jet ? Because next mission is over 1000 km away, and it's on the island

A droonaut would take 3 weeks but no fuel needed and it doesn’t crash.

It took you a while though, you could've also done it with a 2k rover if wanted to drive for a week straight
