@Luckwut i think the default airplane is invincible to heat
I got to the point where I got crushed

The farthest I've been from droo and survived is probably Cylero

I tried getting lowest orbit i could and my apogee was like 50 Mm

i believe there's invisible barrier that destroy your craft at certain altitude, just like tydos and urados. if you want to get there better pack a heat shield or tinkered craft cause it's above warm.
