How To Build Realistic Missiles/Rockets

Hey! I’m new here. I’ve been working on my Little John project. I’ve been struggling to begin on Project Atlas (Sm-65). How do you recommend doing the vernier engines and the side tanks with the stage and a half technique? Thx
