I want to refuel my plane at the airbase manually. Thought about building a tanker to dock with the plane and transfer fuel, but I found it much harder than docking in the space.(maybe influenced my ground friction?)
Wondering if there're other methods for transferring fuel between crafts. Really hope there's somthing like a soft pipeline.

This plane has a refueling port and rover with refueling boom. The slider to control the height of the boom is a bit too sensitive for my taste but it is functional.

@CloakPin Thanks i'll try. Those planes differ in size, I might need to build something complex . A challenge for me XD

Docking ports connect using a magnet.
On land they work better with a shock to allow for it to make its own adjustments if both crafts are not square to each other.
Horizontal connections are harder than vertical connections.
I would put a docking port on top of the plane and then drive under the refill hose.
