would it be possible to have a missile lock on to a part if you are close enough to click on it . Idk if it can even set a specific Part? i am very unfamiliar With the craft programming so thank you.

Look through some old crafts.
There are many out there with target finding at any distance and missile lock.
All in the vizzy work
