this new rocket will be called Helios, a 2 stage orbital class rocket, 2 landing pads will be used over 2 different locations, one for northern trajectory launches, one for east trajectory launches, the rocket will have 4 engines on its first stage, and will have 1 engine on its second stage, this rocket will be constructed using stretched carbon fibre, the usage of carbon fibre in the design means that it will appear black in colour, the engine exhaust will likely be a redish green colour. this rocket will be the first rocket to not include a Vixen engine since the beginning of the Gen Program, this new engine will be called the TS-80, a powerful full stage combustion engine, the second stage will use a TS-80 VAC
the first stage will land softly at one of our landing pads shortly after MECO and stage sep, the first stage will have 3 landing legs and the second stage will have 4 small landing legs that will deploy and lock, the second stage will then land on the opposite pad to the first stage using 4 or 9 incredibly powerful thrusters
this is a very technical design and it doesn't have a realistic completion date for TF-1 (Test flight 1)
@AlphaAreospace just checked out your tutorial. It's the same to how I build my reusable fairings, but you gave me a good idea, so I thank you :)
