Im designing some wings that flex but my craft and the wings are huge so the 4 rotators I used to build a linkage arent strong enough to resist folding while moving at high speeds. Is there a way I can "stiffen" up or possibly even lock them from moving past a specific degree? Or is there maybe a way, using vizzy, to change the way a rotator behaves?

Maybe add some pistons with hinge points to add stability.
Being a sandbox craft you should be able to paint them invisible and make them weight less with no drag.
Terrible option but its possible to get the job done. -

Yeah i can limit them but theyll still move past those limits under enough stress lol. Its like once they go past the designated max angle, they torque away from the part theyre attached to. Might be a connection strength problem now. -

Okay, thanks. Yeah, im not aiming to cheat career mode lol, im building a sandbox craft that has flexing wings, I know how to adjust the angle limits , even the speed, but I still have probs with the wings folding. Granted the craft im building is EXTREMELY heavy and cumbersome so im prolly running short on options. -

@CloakPin they still do
that said, though, if you need to increase their rigidity, my usual solution is to increase the stability modifier - you can access this by enabling the advanced properties switch and then also tinker panel (so yeah, sadly it's not career compatible if that's your aim), you will find it at the top of the tinker panel menu, i don't know much about how it works but if you follow the hover-over instructions it should work fine -

Absolutely, i already experimented with tinkered suspension parts too, they also work if you make them INSANELY strong. Thanks for the idea, pistons are stronger than shocks in some regards but I havent tinkered much with them. XD
