I'M BACK
(Maybe)
After practically 4 months without activities here in the community, I'm coming back here to announce my new aeronautical project to you.
For those who are on the Discord server, you are already well aware of what this is about from the images I recently published in the gallery. However, I came here to make this new aircraft project official.
INSPIRATION
After my last activity and participation in the cargo aircraft challenge, I decided to take a break from activities here and specialize a little more on the subject. I strongly thank Mostly, his evaluation of the N-280F was fundamental for the creation of this aircraft and reevaluating all my construction methods (this time easier with the free XML Edit hahaha). However, I believe it is a very stable aircraft, at least up to current conditions.
His proposal came to continue the planes I make, and this time I was inspired by a possible competitor to the Airbus A321, with a designer that is a bit reminiscent of the E2 family of jets and my old N-280F plane.
EXPECTATIONS
As this is a complete aircraft project, the entire plane will have a modeled interior such as the cockpit, cabin and cargo compartment. And for that, I had to model it very precisely to have functional doors and windows. Therefore, as it will have a modeled interior, all accessories (class seats, luggage racks, bathrooms, etc.) will be present on the aircraft. The aircraft's cockpit will follow a more technological and minimalist model than the N-280F, but don't expect custom displays as I don't know how to make them and also my processor wouldn't support it with everything ready in the end.
As for the aircraft's characteristics, it has a more current designer and was very inspired by Embraer's E2 family, such as its wings and landing gear in addition to the same engine application. And as it intends to be a direct competitor with the A321, passenger capacity is estimated at over 250 seats (in economy configuration), however the final version delivered will be with economy, economy plus and business class, totaling around 220 to 238 seats.
As it is an extremely detailed aircraft, probably the first TAG you can expect is that of "Device Killer", since with a test with only 90 seats it estimated more than 6 thousand parts (and at the time they didn't even have the windows, doors and modeled landing gear), which may mean that I will deliver a version without the passenger seats.
INTRODUCING
The ELR-90 (which is what I'm currently calling it) intends to be completely finished by the end of the month, with only the interior modeling to be done like the cockpit, positioning the class seats in the cabin and the cargo compartment. Otherwise, everything is done and works perfectly, but still light because there is still a lot of weight to be added.
However, if everything goes according to schedule, we will have its launch in early December.
The aircraft is finished. As my notebook can no longer load the craft in flight (even on very low), I will just publish it. I don't promise that it will work, although before starting the interior of the cabin it was already flying well.
