Well, as someone of you guys already know that i am making a system that it is a Binary Star System with a Binary Planet System orbiting it, as ive made a very very small object as the barycenter of the Binary Planets, if i put then far from the barycenter, it would take over 50 years to the complete a orbit around the barycenter, like, if the barycenter was a normal planet and the Binary Planets were the moons of it, it would take maybe a month to complete a orbit in it. So maybe, really maybe, i couldnt make a Binary Star System with a Binary Planet System with the 2 planets being habitable. If someone could help me to reduce the time to complete the orbit without making it so near to the barycenter at the point i would need to put the SOI at the end of the atmosphere of both planets, i would be grateful, since im so anxious to see the result of this system.

In the System Builder (in Planet Studio), you set the star flare color to 0. Doing so will make the barycenter not give off the star flares, but only the other stars do (if you make them have their own star flares) @heitorM

@Hyperant well done, but now the question is how will i make the barycenter not produce light?

Ok, I managed to make 2 stars orbit a barycenter. You need to make the gravity very, very, very high to make the planets orbit as fast as they should.

@heitorM Ik. JNO does not have the correct visuals yet, like eclipses, multiple stars giving different types of light, or planet shadows.

@AK5Z yes but like, i wanted to make 2 or 3 planets orbiting Andromadae B (the central star is Andromadae A), but Andromadae B isnt making any light, so like, instead of Andromadae B make light for the planet that orbits it, it is Andromadae A that makes the light.

@heitorM also, here’s a tip: don’t user barycenters for stars. You can make the second star orbit the Main star, and it will still look a normal binary. Unless if you want something hardcore, you can make a barycenter.

You don’t really have to make a barycenter for the stars. For the planets, yes.

It is too complicated for me to explain. But it has something to do with Terrain Lighting and Max Colour Value
