So, usually when I am planet building, I tend to make the cliffs for any particular subbiome a slightly darker, desaturated offshoot of the "flat" colour. I am now wondering if it would help the look of my planets to have a completely different colour for the cliffs, that is more biome-agnostic (i.e. does not change much with each subbiome). Would that better contrast show up in the scaled map?

scaled space does not show cliffs unless you're on the highest setting for its detail, so it'll only be visible to those on higher end devices

It might. I'm not entirely sure.
