Changing mass, volume, surface heat… all have the potential of putting it into a different stellar class. B-type stars are just hot!!!! They do have potential “habitable zones” (basically where water exists in liquid form) they are just much further out then in a system like our own.

@Zenithspeed ok, but i still want to keep it a b-type star so does making it smaller fix it? @Toinkove ok, but you might want to read the section above.

Or increase the planets distance from the star. However there would be no indigenous life on the planet as B class stars have life spans far too short (only a few million years) for life to develop on planets around them. But you could at least make it habitable for outsiders.

@PZLAgencies you need to reduce the heat of the star (in atmosphere settings), that's what causing the issue

@Zenithspeed well, i have large a b-type star that is hot, and i don’t know if this is the habitable zone or not because when i launch and go into space, my craft suffers heat damage. so that’s why i tagged you because i don’t think this is the habitable zone and maybe make the star smaller.

@PZLAgencies what exactly do you need help with? what's given is a bit too vague for me to understand
