June 24th 2024 – Spire Aero has signed a contract with United space LLC to build and operate 25 communication sats.
Spire has be contracted as the prime contractor for the * United Space LLC* contract. The 25 sats will be launched on a un decided rocket and the first launch should be in late 2024.
A comment from Spire CEO “This contracts marks Spires entrance into the Space systems market and will be a major sector in our plan to become a end to end space company | Build, Launch, Operate | our teams are stoked to get this contract and design review of the satellite has begun ahead for first part production coming late July”
