Opinion on “simple” rocket texture as default?

Y’know the one, the one with the weird uneven lines on it that’s selected as a default texture for fuel tanks. I hate it. I want smooth rockets, i never use the simple texture, why can’t we just have smooth rockets by default. Why do we have to have those annoying lines?
