The progress on X-6D is pretty good. Today i made a test flight with an external fuel tank just for fun. The result was even more ridiculous. Top speed of 3125m/s and an ASL of 57km. There is not much missing for getting into orbit with an untinkered plane. But on the other hand it was a flight of more than 8 hours. Even with my fast forward setting to 4x it took more than 2 hours real time and it is a very boring flight. Just watching the plane getting faster and higher over a long time. Is anyone realy interested in such flights?
