I have fixed the gravity turn issue that prevents the vehicle from moving due to something that makes a part with a high stability modifier have essentially infinite inertia, making it immovable without time warp. I fixed this by turning off the part validation setting in the hidden properties panel. So the interstages are now stronger and the vehicle can now move.
There still needs to be some tweaking done to it (cameras, details, separation motors, etc) but a test flight today showed that its capable of putting 10Mt into orbit.
