The Artemis launch system is a project spearheaded by me and my friends. It is an “ultra-heavy” lift launch vehicle, so far projected to have a 160x160 km LEO capacity of ~1100 Tonnes. It is 14 metres wide, with the aft section of the booster tapering to a 17m diameter. It is currently ~250m tall but may extend to as much as 280m. Powered by Eclipse Engines, each possessing ~5,600 kN of thrust and ~410s Isp ASL, due to the remarkably high chamber pressure - 1100 BAR. This is done with Tungsten Hafnium Carbide as an engine material, assisted by active cooling with methane and LOX. The upper stage, powered by a ring of 34 Constellation Engines, still each with 1100 BAR of chamber pressure, uses a design similar to that of Stoke Space’s Nova. Although the upper stage does not taper down until the fairing nosecone, it reeenters engines-first, protected by and active cooling system. Both stages descents are controlled by canards.
I don’t have time here, but I will add more info soon. Feel free to ask questions and the like :3
