Health Checks | 20.1.25 | COMPLETED | The spacecraft remains healthy after launch
TLI | 26.1.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 successfully completed a TLI burn earlier today. The third stage will perform a capture burn to get into Luna orbit tomorrow.
Luna Capture Burn | 27.1.25 |COMPLETED| LunaRock-2 successfully entered a 50km Luna orbit at a 45° inclination. The third stage was successfully separated. It will move itself into a graveyard orbit.
Health Checks | 30.1.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 continues to be healthy. Teams are currently selecting the best landing site using imagery collected from the spacecraft.
Landing Site Selection | 3.2.25 | COMPLETED | Both of LunaRock-2's landing sites have been selected
De-Orbit Burn | 4.2.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 has successfully completed a de-orbit burn ahead of landing
Live Landing | 4.2.25 |COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 has successfully completed its first landing with a little scare in the final moments but there is no evidence of damage to the critical systems.
Sample Collection | 6.2.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 completed its first round of sample collection
LunaRock-2 Relocation Hop | 8.2.25 |COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 successfully conducted an 11-minute flight. For additional video, you can check our Twitter.
Sample Collection 2 | 10.2.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 completed its second round of sample collection. Teams will begin preparations for the launch of the return capsule over the next few days.
Other Experiments | 12.2.25 |CANCELLED | LunaRock-2 needs to conserve extra battery power for its return
Ascent Stage Launch | 16.2.25 |COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 performed a completely successful burn, but the expected splashdown site is farther east than expected. This shouldn't be an issue.
Trajectory Adjustments | 17.2.25 | COMPLETED | LunaRock-2 is scheduled to splashdown on February 17th at 15:00 GMT. Re-entry will start roughly 15-20 minutes before splashdown.
