• Yes, I played SimplePlanes before SimpleRockets 2.
• Me? I like both the Heavy Falcon, and the Buran.
• Where should you start? Always start at the tutorial. It's very useful!

Do you play SP?

I have played SP. We are currently working on many community projects, mostly the FAR Community Space Station. (look in the sandboxes) I like Falcon Heavy. I started by trying to orbit Droo, and then I went to Luna, and after that, Cylero.

SR2 should come sometime this year. I also am waiting to play SR2 on android, as I am sometimes bored and don't have my PC near me.

I've never played SP or SR, just SR2.
One way to know what the community likes is going through the most upvoted crafts. The easiest way to get there is with detailed crafts
We already have dozens of Falcon Heavy replicas (just a couple realistic and/or detailed) and a couple of Burans, but I would go with FH since it's easier to make when you're starting.

1. Yes, a lot.
2. Not speaking for the whole community but I personally like sci-fi stuff, maybe robots.
3. Start with the simple challenges, they give you a good idea of what you're supposed to do. Are you more of a builder? a pilot? like things to explode? The challenges can help you with that.

If you are a student and don't have a copy yet, try asking your teacher to get in, it's free for educational purposes now, which is cool.
