Droods are incredible athletes

Droods run at speeds of 9-10 m/s or roughly 20.1-22.3 mph. The world record for human running speed was set by Usain Bolt at 27.78 mph. This speed was more or less maintained for 100 meters, while droods can run at their speed indefinitely
Take into account that the average human sprint speed is around 15 mph, and the fact that droods are wearing spacesuits that are presumably pretty heavy and clunky, and you get that all droods are better than any human runner to ever exist.
