I wanted to share a release teaser for my current project, which is nearing completion. It's the remaster of my Space Minnow spaceplane.

I wasn't satisfied with the end product, so I upgraded it from the ground up, mainly because the flight controls and fly-by-wire weren't robust or reliable. Now I solved every issue with it and added many new things, such as the streamlined dual-axis thrust-vectoring system.

Although I've been spending most of my time on the three-part flight computer, which covers automatic landing, ascent, and entry guidance. Space Minnow's flight computer runs on PID controllers using control laws similar to other aerospace vehicles.

That said, I threw some posters together, trying to capture a vintage style and to highlight these new functions.





I went all out with guidance and can really say it works anywhere because I put so much flight testing in. It's been a long journey, but it's so cool for all this to finally come together.

Will spend the next month putting final touches on the autoascent, then another cleaning up the code and optimizing gains, then lots of straight flight testing for the third month. Hopefully, after all that, it will be complete.
