Attaching multiple engines to bottom of a tank

Hey, thanks for this awesome game and community!
I'm new and a noobie but learning ;-)

How can I attach multiple engines to a bottom of ONE tank? Any engines will just stick to the middle of it, tried fuel connectors and symmetry tool but that wouldn't work either.
