We are looking for 100 beta testers to help us beta test SR2 to get it ready for the mobile release. Ideally, we would like to have about 50 iOS testers and 50 Android testers and we may start beta testing as early as this week.

I see this forum is from 5 months ago. I been playing this game now for a few months. When are the astronauts going to be available outside the beta?

@AndrewGarrison I noticed that there’s no re-entry effects in the iOS version.. I was wondering If I should report this as a bug, or if this was intentionally removed?

@kerothehero CTRL+A, CTRL+C, CTRL+V is what the selection process turned out to be.
@SupremeDorian His account has access to the beta, so if he installs it on your device and leaves his account logged in then I suppose that would work. But, that's a lot of trust! I don't know that I would trust my brother that much!
Ideally you'd be looking for
50 low-end devices
50 high-end devices.
25 android high-end
25 android low-end
25 IOS newer devices
25 IOS older devices.
Unless you got a better table for it.
I would like to know the way you're choosing the testers.
@AndrewGarrison If my brother gets selected for beta testing would I also be able to play it? I was going to fill the form since I got a new tablet, but it said I already filled it because I guess it's limited to 1 per IP Address or something.
@Cephues We've had about 250 people sign up, so we cannot include everyone in the beta test.

I wish they sent out an email about this, I check my email and the blog every day, and if it wasn’t for a comment I saw I would have ever known about the opportunity to beta test, I’ve been a fan of SimplePlanes for years and I’ve been waiting for mobile since it was first announced, I wish they did a bit better job of communicating this opportunity.

I signed up, not sure how good my chances are but who knows, maybe I’ll get lucky. I have some decent experience beta testing games with TestFlight too.
